that partner Richard E. Garriott, Jr. has been appointed to
the Virginia Bar Association’s Domestic Relations Council
as Secretary/Treasurer.
Garriott’s litigation practice focuses on divorce,
property settlement agreements, pre-marital agreements,
and custody. He also represents corporate clients in a variety
of civil matters, employment issues, workers’ compensation,
personal injury, and tax and contract matters. An AV rated
attorney, he earned a J.D. from the University of Richmond
School of Law, an M.A. from Ball State University, and a
B.A. from University of Richmond.
Garriott is a member of the Board for Seton Youth Shelters
and the Mission of the Holy Spirit, and is a member of the
Virginia State Bar’s Family Law Section Board of Governors.
