Mr. Garriott represents corporate clients in a variety of
civil matters, defending personal injury litigation, and on
employment issues, workers' compensation, tax and contract
matters.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Garriott represents
clients in Pre-marital Agreements, Divorce, Property Settlement
Agreements and Custody. Mr. Garriott works closely with his
clients to familiarize them with both the legal and practical
aspects of their cases, to facilitate resolutions so that
clients can move on with their lives.
He gained an understanding early on of the need for sensitive
client advocacy while serving as Law Clerk, 2nd Judicial Circuit
of Virginia, Virginia Beach Circuit Court, in 1996-97. Since
then, Mr. Garriott has gained extensive knowledge and skill
in handling complex issues relative to tax considerations,
property valuations, retirement accounts, investment accounts,
and other financial concerns.
