Named to Seton Youth Services Board of Directors
Richard E. Garriott, Esq., a partner with the firm, has been
named to the Board of Directors of Seton Youth Shelters. The
Board of Directors for Seton Youth Shelters provide leadership,
over-sight, and fundraising support for the organization which
has provided shelter and counseling for at risk youth, ages
9-18 since 1985.
Garriott is also a member of the Virginia Family Law Coalition
and is a Domestic Relations Council Member with the Virginia
Bar Association where he serves on the Board of Governors
of the Family Law Section. He represents clients in pre-marital
agreements, divorce, property settlement agreements and custody.
In his litigation practice, Garriott represents corporate
clients in a variety of civil matters, employment issues,
workers’ compensation, personal injury, and tax and
contract matters.
In addition to shelter, Seton Youth Shelters also operates
a 24-hour crisis hotline, (757) 498-HELP, and offers individual
and family counseling for adolescent girls and boys and their
families, as well as, parent support and outreach programs.
The organization’s crisis counseling services are available
24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at no charge.
