The law firm of Clarke, Dolph, Rapaport, Hull, Brunick & Garriott is pleased to announce that attorney Patrick L. Maurer has joined the firm.

Mr. Maurer was formerly a Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Virginia Beach. At Clarke Dolph he focuses his practice on family law and civil litigation. Mr. Maurer represents individuals in divorce, property settlement agreements, custody matters, pre-marital agreements, and other family law cases. He also represents corporate clients in a variety of civil matters, and is expanding his services to include representation of artists, musicians and those in other creative endeavors.

Mr. Maurer received his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut and his B.S. from George Mason University. He attended Oxford University as part of its Honors Exchange Program.

A member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and Virginia Beach Bar Association, Mr. Maurer serves as a volunteer attorney coach and mentor for the Ocean Lakes High School Model Judiciary. Mr. Maurer is also known in Hampton Roads as a member of local alternative and southern rock bands including One Finger Salute and The Underground Press.
